There will definitely be plenty of diving slides and a great time to be had by all. Richard Harker is well-known and duly respected in the hobby having been one of the first people to successfully keep SPS corals in a reef tank. He currently has a 2000-gallon system with 100 square feet of SPS corals. Please be sure to come to our meeting this March.

The Long Island Reef Association is holding NERAC IV on Saturday March 21st. It's a day long conference with an optional evening banquet. We have several excellent speakers:

Todd Gardner - Getting cultured: A guide to growing your own plankton.

In addition to the speakers, we also have several vendors that will be present. When it comes to venues for an aquarium conference, this one can not be beat: Atlantis Marine World. If you stay for the banquet, you not only get to eat some of the finest food to be had at such an event (it's actually good food ), but you get to eat in front of a well matured 20,000 gallon reef tank.

The top raffle prize is a chance to snorkel in the 20,000 gallon reef tank.
